Clsoing Up a Closet

In the hallway across from my bathroom, I had a tiny closet. I assume it was made as an access to the pipe in it, and instead of closing it back up, they just made it into a makeshift closet, complete with shower curtain as a door.

My options were this: buy a custom closet door and put it in, or just close it up. Since a door would cost $80, and the closet would remain tiny, we decided to just close it up all up. Here's what it looks like now, completed without paint.

This was the first time I ever drywalled, so it's a little messy, especially where the walls meet. But it's a dark hallway, so I think I'm ok!

Garden Update

So I created three beds, which was pretty easy. After planting my seeds, I put up the garden fence around them all. Total start up costs for everything: $45. Not bad. We'll see what happens!
